Access unmetered locations to test your Solcast plan

Solcast enables you to test various endpoints at these locations, and it does not count against your API requests.

You can save up your API request budget while pulling data from the Solcast historical data API. We have added several unmetered locations to the API to help you develop against a set of location without consuming your API requests.

Unmetered Locations

These are selected locations that can be used when testing or evaluating data. Requests for data using the exact latitude and longitude combinations listed here will not reduce your number of available transactions.

Please note that Unmetered Locations are not available for the Legacy products including Weather Sites, Utility Scale Sites, Rooftop Sites and World API.

Historical Time Series Endpoint: With unmetered locations, the API endpoint for historical time series, will allow you to go over the 31 day duration limit. If you are calling a metered location, please ensure that your system is updated to account for the P31D requirement.
