I am a researcher or a student at public research organisation (i.e. University), do you offer any discounts or free access for me?

At Solcast, we are all about enabling you to build the solar powered future.

Your work as a student or a researcher is fundamental to the success of integrating more solar into the grid.

We offer free historical time-series data requests for you.

All you have to do is register for the Solcast API service and select the "Researcher" account type. For faster access to Solcast data, it is highly recommended to use your university email address. The use of free domain email addresses will require manual verification, which is likely to delay access to the Solcast platform.
